Pale pink colour. A light, fruity dry wine, round, fresh and long on the palate. Aromas of roses, white peaches and citrus fruit. Goes well with fish in sauce, white meats, Asian/spicy cuisine, grilled meats, cheeses (goat's cheese) and as an aperitif.
Vineyard management in in organic conversion. Gris meunier between 60 and 70 %, for body and power. Pinot gris between 25 and 30 %, for fruitiness and finesse. Pinot noir between 5 and 10 % for roundness and length on the palate.
Part of the vineyard is on sandy soil about 40 cm thick, followed by a layer of flint on clay, then limestone. The other part is on 60 % clay containing gravel.
Direct pressing followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel or enamel vats. Aged on fine lees for three to five months.
