We're lucky to be centrally located for exploring all the jewels of the Loire Valley!
The châteaux of Amboise, Chenonceau, Le Clos Lucé and Château Gallard are to the east of the Manoir de la Mazeraie. The châteaux of Saumur, Rigny-Ussé, Villandry and Langeais to the west. The châteaux of Blois, Chambord and Cheverny to the north and the châteaux of Valençay and Loches to the south.
Manoir de la Mazeraie is also located at the centre of the two vineyards of the Loire Valley Touraine, Vouvray and Montlouis to the east, Chinon and Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil to the west.
Although few visitors are aware of it, Tours is also classified as an International City of Gastronomy. Make the most of your stay to sample the local specialities (Rillettes de Tours PDO, rillons de Tours, andouillettes au Vouvray, goat's cheeses PDO, tarte vigneronne or nougat de Tours, not to mention fouées or poires tapées).
